Individualized Programming
Based on a foundation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), in-home sessions are conducted using a 1:1 client to staff ratio and in coordination with the client’s primary caregivers to improve identified client skill deficits and challenging behaviors.
Qualified Intensive Services & Treatment
Home Based Programs
All of our Home Based Programs are inclusive, meaning that we provide all the associated staff needed for a targeted and fully controlled treatment in order for the child to be taught more consistently all the essential skills, such as communication, play skills, social interaction skills, self-help skills, academic skills etc.
This program is designed especially for the child’s needs taking under consideration his strengths and weaknesses as well as the family’s individual needs.
Early Intervention for
Families with children with ASD or other developmental delays of age below 2.5 years old, we design and commence individualised approaches appropriate for children as young as 2 years of age, effective for improving IQ, language ability, and social interaction. Using well researched models, our approach and experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) teaching methods with developmental 'relationship-based' approaches, blending the consistency, fluency, and effectiveness of ABA with play-based routines that focus on building rapport with the toddler and increasing their motivation for learning.
Common for ASD amongst boys (1 in 42) than amongst girls (1 in 189).
Research has shown that a diagnosis of autism at age 2 can be reliable, valid, and stable.
Children having been identified with ASD in the Asia, Europe and North America.
Children having been identified with ASD in the United States alone.
There is no single intervention that is effective for every individual diagnosed with ASD. Each intervention is fundamentally based on the needs of an individual consumer, their caregivers, and their family.
Support Services for Families
ABC Strategies provides services and advice for families of children with autism. Children and their families are at the heart of everything we do and we are committed to helping both achieve a better quality of life. From short-term skills such as toilet training through to full-time ABA programs, we’ve helped hundreds of children over the years. Many families have told us that seeing their child make progress, learn to communicate and knowing how to manage their behaviors has been invaluable.
ABA is the most established evidence-based approach to autism. It is the standard approach of choice in many countries with literally decades of peer-reviewed research evidencing its effectiveness.
Tailored to Care
Our program provides residential care for children and adults ages 2 and up who have various cognitive deficits and whose behaviors typically make it unsafe for them to reside in less-restrictive settings. The program provides a trauma-informed approach to care, incorporating occupational therapy, speech therapy, group and individual therapies along with principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help each individual develop healthy and safe ways of interaction.
Our program is the key to quality services, providing assistance, guidance, and caring one-on-one. Through our support services it makes it possible for people with disabilities to live joyfully with independence and dignity, despite daily challenges and obstacles. Instead of a struggle, life becomes a great adventure, and together we have the fabulous opportunity to make that difference
Unlike many other home care agencies, we are not a large national franchise. We are a small, privately owned company that focuses on cultural diversity and value. We start with a face-to-face meeting in the client’s home to understand the situation, environment, the client’s needs and expectations. Many other organizations simply assign the next available person and ask they show up at a specified time. To us, it’s all about relationships.
We find that our no-obligation In-home Consultation makes a big difference to ensure a good working relationship. We are looking to foster a loving, caring, stable and lasting relationship between you and ABC Strategies.
Helping Mend Relationships
ABC Strategies also offers Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) for children, teens and young adults. TBS could complement the other services that we provide to minors who need more in-home services. TBS helps to mend the relationship between the patient and the care provider, to avoid the patient being placed in a higher level of care or institutionalized in residential treatment facility, and TBS allows them to live at home with their family. TBS services include Initial assessment and development of behavioral plan, reassessment and development of new behavior plan, Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) health and behavior intervention.
By the end of the service, the caregiver will have interventions to use when the child’s target behaviors surface. Also, the client will have new strategies to use when dealing with his/her own target behaviors.
Qualified, Researched, Thorough...
Achieving Desired Outcomes
ABC Strategies recognizes how important it is for services to be implemented early in life, in order to maximize the potential results for the individuals we are serving. We believe that our methods can also make a difference in the lives of your typically developing children, as the behavior skills we train may apply to all children. Research shows that the earlier behavioral intervention is delivered to a child, the faster that child experiences broader developmental success.
Between 25-50% of children receiving intensive early intervention will move into general education by Kindergarten. Others will require significantly less support services throughout their lives.
